Module 1 Anatomy and Physiology of the skin, Diseases of the skin.
On successful completion of this module the candidate will be able to:

Summarise the functions of the skin, identify its layers and explain the role of sweat glands

LO2   Identify diseases of the skin, diseases of the sweat glands and list the types of lesions that are discussed in this unit
 

Module 2 - The Foot.
On successful completion of this module the candidate will be able to:

Examine the functions of the foot with regards to weight bearing, locomotion and shock absorption

LO2   Identify the foot conditions described in this unit and how each should be treated
 

Module 3 - The Nail Disorders and Diagnosis.
On successful completion of this module the candidate will be able to:

Differentiate between Onychocrytposis and Onychrogryphosis

LO2   Explain in detail how toenails should be cut
 

Module 4 - Implements and Materials.
On successful completion of this module the candidate will be able to:
